The aroma has a touch of roast-meat combined with some classic varietal herbaceousness and blackcurrant leaf. Good tannin grip, long finish, sweet fruit rounds out the wine. Some nice vanilla lingers as aftertaste. Wine Enthusiast Aromas are of blackberry and earth. The best feature here is the wineÍs texture„itÍs nice and smooth, like river rocks, and the impression really sticks on the midpalate. Red fruit flavors hover underneath.
