Dark red to purple. Rich full bodied aromas, some violets, briary notes. Elegant and complex palatewith supple tannins rounded by plums and fruitcake flavors. Wine Spectator A serious red, dense with cherry, currant and earthy spice character, nicely wrapped with fine-grained tannins, the flavors persisting appealingly.
