The wine is deep purple in colour. Luscious cherry and blackberry on the nose are followed by stewed plum fruit characters. This is enhanced by soft vanilla & spicy cinnamon and black pepper notes. The wine is big and full, with sweet and rich notes on the mid palate extending to soft supple tannins on the long finish. These excellent fruit characters are enhanced by integrated oak, with just a touch of the earthy ‘wet clay’ regional characters associated with big Langhorne Creek reds.
