Enticing aromas of pear, pink grapefruit and vanilla perfume this wine. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a deliciously silky texture and a seductive combination of nectarine, pear and vanilla flavours. Richness and intensity persist and the wine finishes with fresh cleansing acidity. Enjoy this wine now or watch it gracefully mature for up to 10 years. Wine Advocate The 2005 Chardonnay Single Vineyard was aged for 12 months in new and used French oak. It underwent 100% malolactic fermentation with lees stirring throughout the 12 months in barrel. Light gold-colored; it exibits notes of toast, vanilla, nuts, baked apple, and pear. Supple-textured and round on the palate, tropical notes emerge along with balancing acidity and a lengthy finish. Drink this outstanding effort over the next 3-4 years. Wise Wine, located in the Margaret River GI, was founded in 1991 by Ron and Sandra Wise. The estate's vineyards were first planted in 1986.
