Colour: Bright black core with black cherry rim Bouquet: Floral, sweet black fruit compote, with mocha, graphite, forest floor, black pepper and spice. Palate: Smooth, elegant, medium bodied, where the bouquet is reflected on the full and long palate, followed by persistent fine grain fruit tannins and a hint of orange peel. Wine Advocate The 2004 "Harmony" Old Vine Mourvedre (25%) - Grenache (25%) - Shiraz (50%) features 80 year-old bush vine Grenache, 70-year-old dry grown Mourvedre, and 10-year-old dry-grown Shiraz. It was aged for 25 months in seasoned French oak. It offers up complex notes of cedar, mocha, forest floor, graphite, pepper, blueberry, and black cherry. Medium-bodied, velvety-textured, and elegant, the wine has enough structure to evolve for several years. It can be enjoyed over the next 8-10 years. Score: 92. October 31, 2007.
